Dunlop Tires lemans – Dunlop Tires
Has anyone had any problems with Dunlop tires?
I purchased 5 Dunlop Direzza tires for my Audi A4 and within the past 30-40 days, 4 of the tires have blown. I take the tires back to the tire shop where I purchased them and they replace them but cannot give a reason for the blowouts, has anyone heard of this or have any suggestions?
I had some years ago and they were great, but that doesn’t mean yours are. If they are that bad I would tell them you want them replaced with a different brand. There has to be something seriously wrong to go throught that many tires. I have not had a tire “blow” in 30 years and I have 3 cars. The last time I had one blow was when Firestone had to do the big recall back in the 70′s. They had a big problem too and had to recall them all.

Can mazda3 17 inch alloy wheels fit on a mazda6?
I am trying to buy 2006 mazda3 17 inch wheels and put them on my 2003 mazda6, but i am not sure if i can do that with out harming my car.
The mazda3 17 inch wheels i am getting:
17×6-1/2, 5 lug, 114mm Indented spoke ends
5×114
The mazda6 17 inch alloy wheel specifications:
17 x 7, with 5 lug on 114 mm Indented spoke ends
5×114.
I can see that all the numbers match except for 17X7 (for mazda6) and 17X6.5 (for mazda 3).
Does this mean i cannot put mazda 3 17 inch wheels on my mazda6?
By the way my mazda6 right now has the steel wheels with hub caps and they are either 15 inch or 16 inch wheels.
Since i am going higher on the rim size a bit, does it hurt my suspensions?

I AM SORRY, RIGHT NOW I HAVE 16 INCH WHEELS ON MY CAR AND I AM TRYING TO PUT THE 17 INCH WITH P205/50R17 TIRES. rIGHT NOW I HAVE P205/60R16.
LOOKS LIKE MY TIRE WILL BE A BIT BIG BUT LOW PROFILE, IS THIS GOOD FOR MY CAR.
The wheels will fit, the P205/50R17 88V Mazda 3 tires are not a good idea however. They are too small in diameter and have a much lower load carrying capacity than the P215/50R17 93V tires a Mazda 6 should have.

Can any one tell me why, the out side treads on my GoodYear tires are cuping Seems to be wearing the same amount on both driver and passenger side, but only on the rear tires.
The tires only have 5500 miles on them.
or could the shocks be bad, This is all happening on a 2005 Dodge Dakota, 4.7 lt with an Auto Trans,
Rear tire wear on a Dakota will NOT be an alignment problem, no adjustments there. Do know that Goodyear Invicta tire in the 80′s and 90′s were noted for this type of wear though there were no problems with the vehicle. Shocks are possible but you would have to abused an ’05 to need shocks. Best bet rotate tire religiously.

Where is the outrage over hundreds of millions of Black Rubber Car Tires wearing out (vaporizing)
We need red polyurathane wheels like skate boards and roller blades.
Or is something else behind this carbon foot print, plug in car, global warming business.
My kids aren’t old enough to drive so I get to use their carbon credits and pollute for 4 people. Al Gore has something with these carbon credits, I think I’ll have more kids so I can have more carbon credits.

Has anyone compared Nokian Hakkapeliitta R snow tires with other snow tires?
Has anyone compared Nokian Hakkapeliitta R snow tires with such brands as Bridgestone Blizzaks or Michelin X-Ice, and how do they compare? I am looking for the best winter tires for my new Scion tC and have read great things about the Nokians. Thanks.
I have never compared the tires, but have personally owned the Nokian snow tires installed on a Volvo S80. I must say, there can’t be any comparison to the Nokian tires, they have mastered the ability to make tires stick to the road during the worst of conditions. I admit, I made a stupid mistake by buying a set of Yokohama tires for my Volkswagen Jetta TDI. My next set of tires will be Nokian. Nothing compares.

can I buy spoke wheels for my honda Aero 1100 in red? can I just buy rims in the same size?
do I buy rims in the same size or do I have to buy rims made specifically made for my honda?
The easiest way to get what you want is to have your current wheels powder coated. This is more durable that paint, and shouldn’t cost more than a couple hundred dollars. You can have the spokes done differently than the rims too…good luck. I hope this helps.

no they were not part of the recall only the bigger tires that would fit an s.u.v. or a pick-up truck.

Where can I get a single replacement Gorilla M12x1.5 Lug Nut for my Enkei RS6 wheels?
I have a 2000 Honda Civic CX, 16 Inch Enkei RS6 wheels (4 lug pattern on each wheel)
So far I have tried a Honda dealership and Kragen with no luck. Does anyone know of a specific store/dealer who sells Gorilla lug nuts?
